Adult Sunday School and Life Groups at First Assembly are a great way to become “connected” with others. They are a great way to grow in your faith and a great place to encourage other believers in their walk with the LORD. Each class has its own persona and concentration. Some lend themselves to a little more fellowship; some are discussion oriented while some are more lecture. Most Adult Sunday school classes have a combination of all three of these components.
Each Adult Sunday School Class and Life Groups will be something that will help fulfill one of the four pillars of your life – knowing who First Assembly of God is, developing disciplines to grow in your faith, discovering your place in the body of Christ, and how to present the message of Jesus Christ to those who do not know him. Each teacher/facilitator is committed to the goal of being a source of encouragement as well as being a part of your continual growth in the relationship you have with God and the fellowship of other believers here at First Assembly and throughout our community.
If you are not currently a part of one of these groups, you are missing out! Take a little extra time to pray about which class God would have you participate in. Then, go with a hungry heart (and a hungry stomach in a couple of the classes) and give these times a chance to make a difference in your life.
