		Larry Sohn Senior Pastor larry@lovethischurch.com Pastor Larry has been our Senior Pastor since August 1991. Larry and Judy were born and raised in Missouri. They were married in August 1973 following his tour of duty with the U.S. Air Force. After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Bible from Central Bible College they traveled as Evangelists for ten years. In 1986 God called them to leave the evangelistic ministry to pastor Macomb Assembly of God in Macomb, Illinois. Then in 1991 came the call to First Assembly of God in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As our senior pastor, Larry supplies the main pulpit ministry at First Assembly, mentors the pastoral team, is responsible for casting vision, shepherding the congregation and guarding doctrinal integrity. Larry is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and serves as presbyter for the Iowa Ministry Network. Larry and Judy enjoy spending time with their two awesome kids Brittany and Brandt.

		Dave DeHaan Community Life Pastor dave@lovethischurch.com Pastor Dave and his wife Stacy, along with their three joyful girls Kaelynn, Alexa and Addison, moved to the Hawkeye State in February 2008 to join the great team of First Assembly Cedar Rapids. Originally from Grand Rapids Michigan, Dave and his wife have a heart to see growth in relationship through discipleship and small groups. Before assuming the role of Community Life Pastor, Dave attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Church Ministries. He is an ordained minister with the AG and is currently responsible for overseeing development and growth of discipleship processes and small groups. Pastor Dave enjoys a good sense of humor, a good round of golf, hanging with his family, grilling out, and feasting on authentic Mexican food! Go Wolverines!

		Marvin Felty Worship Pastor marvin@lovethischurch.com Marvin has been the Worship Pastor at First Assembly since 1993 and has been in full-time worship ministry since 1977. He and his wife, Theresa, have two married children, Jennifer and Ryan Williams and Brad and Lindsay Felty . Marvin sings and plays the trumpet and guitar and is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God In their spare time Marvin and Theresa enjoy flying, sailing and bicycling. Regarding his passions, Marvin says the he is passionate about leading people into the presence of God and helping worship musicians fulfill their calling in worship ministry.

		Rick Gail Care Pastor rick@lovethischurch.com Pastor Rick Gail has been the Pastoral Care Pastor at First Assembly of God since January, 1998. Rick, a retired Cedar Rapids Police Officer, was born and raised in Cedar Rapids . Rick has lived in Cedar Rapids his entire life except for the five years he and his family lived in Springfield , MO while attending college. Rick is married to his wife Jan. They have two children, Amanda (Brian) Grochala, and Neal Gail II. They also have a very beautiful granddaughter, Gillian Gail Grochala, more fondly known by her “Poppy” as “Little Girl.” Rick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Bible from Central Bible College and his Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Evangel University , both in Springfield , MO. Rick has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 1991.

		Jan Kopf Childrens Pastor jan@lovethischurch.com Pastor Jan has been on staff at First Assembly since June of 1995, and served in volunteer capacities in our church since January 1987. Jan is responsible for ministering to children birth -6th grades. Jan is a certified minister with the Assemblies of God and has a degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and Preschool Handicapped Education with endorsements in Behavioral and Mental Disabilities from the University of Northern Iowa. Prior to coming on staff, she taught in both Public and Private Christian Schools. Jan and her family are home grown Cedar Rapidians. Her husband Bruce is an Engineer with Whirlpool Corp. in Amana, Iowa as well as being an integral partner in the ministry. They have two children; a son Braden, and married daughter Samantha and husband Andrew. Jan enjoys partnering with parents and seeing their children grow in knowledge and relationships with the Lord!

		Brad Singleton Youth & Young Adults Pastor brad@lovethischurch.com Passionate, wired to inspire students, gifted-communicator, and devoted Christ-follower are just a few ways to describe Brad Singleton. He oversees our ministry to middle school / high school students as well as young adults. Brad is an ordained AG minister and earned his Bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry from Central Bible College. Brad and his wife Dianne are the proud parents of Isaiah, Elaina, and Lydia. Brad and Dianne have been working with students for the past 10 years and are passionate about young people experiencing the life change that a relationship with Jesus brings.
